Hand feeding is one of the most demanding, delicate, expensive but beneficial part of your hobby / business. Professional farming of exotic birds is incomplete without hand feeding. For handfeeding operation you need to be properly equipped and you have to make up your mind, space and equipment before u finalize that you will hand feed your baby birds. Some of the advantages and disadvantages of hand feeding are as under:
        Advantages:
More number of chicks u can get during breeding season
In case of bad parents you can save the chicks
Help in keeping breeding stock in good shape by reducing stress of chick feeding on parents
        Less mortality rate
chicks can be examined on regular basis for health and growth etc.
        Disadvantages:
        Time bounding
        Expensive
Risky for untrained or less trained individuals
